# San Elijo Hills Fire Safe Council

> The San Elijo Hills Fire Safe Council (SEH FSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit wildfire-preparedness hub for the San Elijo Hills community in San Marcos, California. It is run by local homeowner volunteers and serves five evacuation zones (0850, 0852, 0854, 0920, 0921). All three community zones hold Firewise USA certification, which is the legal trigger for the California insurance premium discount. The site provides defensible-space guidance, evacuation planning, real-time fire and weather monitoring, annual Firewise hour reporting, community wildfire plans and maps, and donation options.
